CNC Production Supervisor Position Summary:

The CNC Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting, supervising, and measuring the capability and efficiency of CNC department and its staff.

 CNC Production Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Daily/monthly/annual production efficiency reports
  • Purchase and track production tools/materials.
  • Manage Employee training records.
  • Production employee performance tracking and annual reviews
  • Perform Internal production department audits.
  • Liaison between Director of Manufacturing and production employees, maintenance staff and other departments, suppliers, and contractors
  • Assist in continues improvement program.
  • Maintains a positive and respective attitude cooperates with co-workers, management, internal and external customers, as applicable.

 Ideal Candidate Prerequisites, Skills, and Competencies:

  • 2-4 years as lead machinists or supervisor in CNC machine shop necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High school diploma needed.
  • Strong Microsoft skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Ability to develop presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Knowledge of the ISO 13485
  •  Strong diligence and organizational skills
  • Experience with Blueprint reading/literacy including Geometric Dimensions and Tolerance (GD&T) is preferred.
  • Approve weekly employee timecards and PTO requests.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, prove facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Communication Skills - Must be able to coordinate efforts to produce results.
  • Strong leadership Skills -Must be able to promote excellence in all employees and build a winning culture.
