HR Generalist

Aston Carter is seeking a professional HR Generalist!

We are seeking an HR Generalist to play a critical role in delivering comprehensive HR support across the organization. Acting as the primary point of contact for employees and leadership, this position manages a broad range of responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, HR systems management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and HR reporting. This opportunity is best suited for a proactive and adaptable HR professional who can work independently, balance multiple priorities, and grow alongside a stable and expanding organization.

Essential Skills

• Experience supporting core HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in a medium-sized organization and supporting multiple stakeholders is beneficial.
• Experience with HRIS platforms preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This is a Permanent position based out of Plainville, CT.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Standard Benefit Package including PTO, Health Benefits, etc.

This is a fully onsite position in Plainville,CT.

This position is anticipated to close on Sep 1, 2026.
