Dewitt Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor who is ready to lead from the floor, develop a high-performing team, and help shape the future of our hospital.

This is not just a “management” role — this is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accountability, and is passionate about building a positive, growth-focused culture.

The Technician Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, elevating medical standards, and developing the technician team.

You will work closely with hospital leadership to ensure:

  • Strong clinical workflows
  • Consistent training and skill development
  • A collaborative, respectful team environment
  • High-quality patient care and client experience

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • A strong veterinary technician with leadership experience or readiness to step into leadership
  • Passionate about teaching, coaching, and developing others
  • Organized, solution-oriented, and confident in decision-making
  • Able to balance team support with accountability and performance standards
  • Comfortable navigating change and helping teams adapt (especially with new systems and workflows)
  • A positive, “let’s figure it out” mindset with strong communication skills
  • 3+ years of veterinary technician experience required
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong technical skills (surgery, anesthesia, patient care, workflow coordination)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (controlled substances, medical documentation, etc.)
  • Experience with PIMS and other veterinary software (EzyVet, VetSnap etc.) is a plus

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Up to $29/hourly, based on experience
  • Eligibility of a sign-on bonus up to $1500 based on experience
