Production Team Lead – Electronics Manufacturing

Work Hours
This is a 1st Shift position. Our work hours are Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4pm and Friday 7am-11am. Â Overtime, as needed.
What You’ll Do
As a Production Team Lead, you’ll supervise and support a team of assemblers in a high-mix, high-reliability manufacturing environment. You’ll help ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead, coach, and support production team members on daily manufacturing activitiesÂ
- Assign and coordinate work based on production schedules and prioritiesÂ
- Monitor productivity, quality, and on-time delivery performanceÂ
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiativesÂ
- Train and mentor employees on processes, workmanship standards, and best practicesÂ
- Help maintain compliance with AS9100, IPC, J-STD, and customer requirementsÂ
- Partner with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program teams to resolve issues and improve processesÂ
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented cultureÂ
- Ensure work instructions, documentation, and production records are completed accuratelyÂ
- Support inventory control and material flow activitiesÂ
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean manufacturing environmentÂ
Technical Responsibilities
This role includes hands-on involvement in electronic and mechanical assembly processes such as:
- Electrical and mechanical assemblyÂ
- Cable and harness assemblyÂ
- Functional and continuity testingÂ
- Soldering and inspection (training/certification available if needed)Â
- Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawingsÂ
- Using hand tools, gauges, power tools, and manufacturing equipmentÂ
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a strong team leader who combines technical manufacturing experience with the ability to motivate and develop people.
Required Qualifications:
- Education- Associate's Degree/Technical Degree Preferred; HS Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace/defense manufacturing, or a related technical production environmentÂ
- 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experienceÂ
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentÂ
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to read work instructions, schematics, and manufacturing documentationÂ
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft OfficeÂ
- Ability to work onsite in Plaistow, NHÂ
- Flexibility to support overtime when neededÂ
Preferred Experience:
- IPC/J-STD certificationsÂ
- EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) experienceÂ
- Aerospace & Defense manufacturing experienceÂ
- Experience with quality systems such as AS9100 or IPC standardsÂ
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiativesÂ
