About the role: 

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join our field team and gain hands on experience in the building materials industry. As a Fulfillment Supply Chain Intern, you will learn the function of a buyer at US LBM from a procurement perspective within the Dallas-Metro Market in the lumber and building materials industry. You will also look at how AI can be utilized within the supply chain space.

Our internship will provide the opportunity to work with us within our field operations team. As a summer intern, you will participate in a paid program with hands on experience to work on real-world projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and develop valuable skills for your future career!

Education and Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in an undergraduate degree program 
• Excellent communication & organization skills 
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
• High attention to detail 
• Self-motivated 
• Time management skills  
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks  
• Strong interest in the building materials field 
• Qualified candidates must have reliable transportation as they will be traveling between locations within the market.

Schedule: 

• Up to 40 hours per week 
• May 27 through August 14 

Compensation:  

• Undergrads: $18.00 - $24.00 / hour 
• Graduate / MBA: $24.00 - $30.00 / hour
