This is Hybrid role with 3 days in office at our Sally Beauty Holdings headquarters in Plano, Tx. 

 About the role 

 The Digital Asset Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day execution and optimization of digital asset operations supporting BSG’s eCommerce and digital platforms. This role ensures that product imagery and creative assets are accurately produced, organized, and delivered on time to support high-quality, conversion-driven product detail pages and a consistent, compelling customer experience across all digital channels. 

Operating in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, the Digital Asset Assistant partners closely with Digital Merchandising, Marketing, Technology, external vendors, and brand partners to proactively monitor asset readiness, troubleshoot issues, and identify imagery gaps that could impact site execution or customer experience. 

This role is critical to maintaining asset integrity, operational efficiency, and brand consistency, and is ideal for someone who is energized by building best-in-class product pages, takes ownership of content quality, and actively looks for ways to improve how products show up and perform on site. As the digital business continues to grow and evolve, this role requires flexibility and adaptability. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating change, adjusting priorities, and supporting new processes, tools, and ways of working as the business scales. 

Responsibilities 

  • Take an active role in improving site content quality by identifying opportunities to enhance imagery, consistency, and overall customer experience not just executing requests, but helping elevate standards. 
  • Manage the intake, tracking, and status of digital assets across all brands on ecommerce websites and app. 

    •     Edit and optimize product imagery, ensuring adherence to brand standards, sizing requirements, file naming conventions, and digital delivery, with occasional graphic design work. 

    •     Act as a point of coordination to surface content gaps, quality concerns, or timing risks so corrective action can be taken 

    •     Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders regarding asset readiness and priorities 

    •     Perform quality checks on assets to ensure accuracy, visual standards, technical requirements, and brand compliance 

    •     Identify opportunities to improve workflows and increase efficiency within asset production and delivery processes 

    •     Support the Digital Asset Manager in executing and evolving digital asset strategies, with a mindset toward continuous improvement, scalability, and raising the bar on product page quality 

     

    Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements 

    •     Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field 

    •     1–3 years of experience in digital asset management, eCommerce operations, or digital content execution 

    •     Intermediate experience with Adobe Photoshop and Figma for editing and designing digital assets 

    •     Experience working within a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system (Bynder preferred) 

    •     Experience with enterprise platforms for product setup, content updates, and digital assets (Salesforce preferred) 

    •     Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work accurately and efficiently. You enjoy creating order out of ambiguity and can help shape new workflows and documentation. 

    •     Experience with project and workflow management tools (Jira preferred) 

    •     Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment. Works well across teams and with external vendors.
