Clinic Team Lead - Full-Time Leadership Position

We are looking for an experienced Clinic Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership to our clinical technician team in Plano. 

This is a working leadership position for someone who knows how to balance people, patients, and operations. You will help guide the daily flow of the clinic, lead and develop team members, partner closely with our providers, Center Director, and Director of Surgical and Clinical Services, and help ensure our patients receive the remarkable experience they expect from ClearSight.

What You'll Do

As our Clinic Team Lead, you will help create an organized, efficient, and patient-focused environment while providing daily leadership to our clinical technicians.

You will:

  • Lead the daily workflow and assignments of the clinical technician team.
  • Manage technician schedules and adjust staffing based on patient volume, time-off requests, and unplanned absences.
  • Delegate responsibilities based on workflow, priorities, and the needs of the clinic.
  • Assist doctors and team members with complex situations while maintaining professionalism and exceptional patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison among patients, clinical technicians, doctors, and leadership.
  • Lead, train, mentor, and develop clinical technicians.
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members in collaboration with the Center Director, and Director of Surgical and Clinical Services.
  • Complete employee assessments and performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Provide appropriate coaching, feedback, and verbal or written counseling when needed.
  • Assist with offboarding processes in partnership with leadership.
  • Organize and lead team meetings and training alongside the Center Director and Director of Surgical and Clinical Services.
  • Help implement policies, procedures, and operational changes and communicate them effectively to the team.
  • Ensure daily patient charts are reviewed, audited for accuracy, and completed
  • Serve as a point of contact for diagnostic equipment representatives and Dedicated IT.
  • Remain current on relevant clinical practices, policies, and organizational standards.
  • Take charge of time-sensitive or emergent situations with a calm, level-headed approach.
  • Step in and support other areas when needed to keep our patients and team moving forward.



What We're Looking For

This is not simply a senior technician position. This is a people's leadership position.

We are looking for someone with the clinical knowledge to earn the team's confidence and leadership ability to help people grow, communicate expectations, address concerns, and hold themselves and others accountable.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working as a clinical technician.
  • Proven leadership ability and demonstrated success leading, mentoring, coaching, or developing others.
  • Strong knowledge of clinic operations and technical procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and inter/intrapersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage schedules, establish priorities, and delegate effectively.
  • Ability to provide clear, timely, respectful feedback and address performance concerns when necessary.
  • Ability to train, mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during complex, fast-paced, or emergent situations.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and daily chart management.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, or similar systems.
  • Ability to complete required departmental certifications within designated timeframes.
  • Ability to maintain required OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR training and certifications.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with flexibility based on business needs and participate in the weekend on-call rotation.
  • Ability to travel to other ClearSight locations, including Oklahoma City, for training or meetings as needed.
  • Professional references that can speak directly to your leadership, teamwork, communication, accountability, and performance will be required as part of the selection process. A 360-degree reference process may include former supervisors, peers, and individuals you have led or mentored.



Preferred:

  • Proven clinical training or certification.
  • Proven Successful Lead Position.
