This role will help build out the cost accounting department to meet the needs of poppi’s current growth trajectory, including the addition of new co-manufacturer & 3PL locations, increased production, and greater sales volumes
Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic reconciliations between internal ERP system and third-party reported inventory levels.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies (found through reconciliations or ad hoc review) and collaborate with other departments to align systematic inventory with actuals.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Post physical inventory adjustments and journal entries within the ERP system.
- Support and participate in physical count audits as needed.
- Perform costing analysis and identify systematic costing errors.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate required reporting or documentation for internal and external audits.
- Contribute to special projects as required.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably with a high-growth CPG brand.
- Experience with inventory reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (NetSuite and/or SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally while presenting information and managing internal & external relationships.
- Prior experience working with co-manufacturing and 3PL partners is a plus.
- Familiarity with weighted-average costing is a plus.
