Role and Responsibilities

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Sales Operations Manager to lead data infrastructure, analytics, and sales planning operations for the SEA B2B Display Division. This role owns end-to-end responsibility for the division's data ecosystem — including the sales data cube, Alteryx ETL workflows, Tableau reporting environment, and organizational and product mapping tables — while also driving the bi-annual quota-setting process for the entire sales organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen, serving as the primary subject matter expert for sales data governance, reporting infrastructure, and process improvement across the Data & Infrastructure team.

Essential Duties:

Quota Planning & Sales Performance Management

  • Own the end-to-end bi-annual quota-setting process (H1 and H2) for the full sales organization, spanning a 2–3 month cycle per half
  • Collect and validate historical sales data, headcount rosters, and business targets to build quota model inputs
  • Build and run the quota allocation model; present outputs to sales leadership and Finance for review and sign-off
  • Finalize rep- and team-level quota assignments, load into systems, and communicate to the sales organization
  • Maintain quota documentation and audit trails in the designated quota-setting environment

Data Infrastructure & Sales Data Cube Management

  • Own and maintain the B2B Display sales data cube, ensuring reliable refresh schedules, data accuracy, and performance
  • Conduct regular infrastructure reviews to address technical debt, optimize cube structure, and align with evolving business needs
  • Perform routine QA on data cube outputs; investigate and resolve anomalies, gaps, or refresh failures
  • Lead semi-annual strategic reviews of the data architecture and propose structural improvements for the next half

Alteryx Workflow Automation & Administration

  • Build, maintain, and monitor all Alteryx ETL workflows supporting the Data & Infrastructure team
  • Investigate and resolve workflow failures, data anomalies, and scheduling errors on a weekly basis
  • Conduct monthly audits of all active workflows for performance issues, deprecated inputs, and logic drift
  • Optimize high-frequency and high-impact workflows on a quarterly basis to improve stability and automation coverage
  • Modify workflows to accommodate organizational changes, territory realignments, account updates, and product changes

Tableau Reporting & BI Administration

  • Administer and maintain the Tableau reporting environment, ensuring all dashboards and data connections refresh correctly
  • Conduct monthly reviews of active reports for accuracy, stale data sources, and alignment with current business definitions
  • Perform quarterly rationalization of the full Tableau report inventory — deprecating unused reports and consolidating overlapping views
  • Develop new Tableau dashboards and visualizations in response to business requests and strategic insight initiatives

Mapping Table & Master Data Management

  • Maintain and update sales organization mapping tables on a monthly basis to reflect headcount changes, territory realignments, and role updates
  • Manage product mapping tables for new SKUs, product discontinuations, and category reclassifications
  • Ensure data consistency across all downstream systems dependent on org and product mapping logic

Sales Analytics & Insights Development

  • Analyze B2B Display sales performance data to surface trends, anomalies, and opportunities; translate findings into actionable insights for sales leadership
  • Package and present new insights via Tableau dashboards, reports, or presentations; gather stakeholder feedback and iterate
  • Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests from Sales, Finance, and leadership teams
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies across reporting platforms and systems

Process Design, Improvement & Documentation

  • Conduct quarterly current-state process assessments across key workflows; identify inefficiencies and produce improvement recommendations with implementation plans
  • Implement approved process improvements on a semi-annual basis; document new-state processes and transition to steady-state operations
  • Design and build new business and data processes end-to-end — from requirements gathering and workflow design through testing, documentation, and handoff
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation for all workflows, mapping tables, and infrastructure components

POS Data Management & Reporting

  • Own and maintain daily Point-of-Sale (POS) reporting processes across retail partners
  • Monitor retailer reporting status and investigate data delays, gaps, or anomalies
  • Maintain retailer account hierarchies and manage onboarding/offboarding of reporting partners
  • Manage product SKU-to-material mapping within ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent)
  • Perform exception handling and data cleansing to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Support historical sales data requests and lead discrepancy investigations

Sales Analytics & Insights

  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from Sales, Finance, and leadership teams
  • Analyze sales trends, identify patterns, and provide actionable historical sales insights
  • Troubleshoot data inconsistencies across multiple reporting platforms and systems

Reporting Systems Administration

  • Administer and maintain data connections and integrations across reporting and business tools, including:
    • BI/visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
    • CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
    • Project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet)
    • Data warehouse or OLAP environments
    • File transfer systems (e.g., FTP/SFTP)
    • Claims and incentive management platforms
  • Ensure reliable and timely data flow between all connected systems

Workflow Automation & Administration

  • Build, maintain, and update automated data workflows (e.g., Alteryx or equivalent ETL tools)
  • Modify workflows to accommodate organizational changes, territory realignments, account updates, and error corrections
  • Continuously improve workflow stability, efficiency, and automation coverage

Claims & Financial Reconciliation Support

  • Manage periodic claims reconciliation processes, validating sales data against financial records
  • Coordinate contract renewals and invoice settlements with third-party data and software vendors
  • Prepare and submit internal work orders and purchase requests as needed
  • Support multi-year contract renewals for enterprise tools, including cost allocation across business units or divisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve data and reporting issues
  • Support the onboarding of new retail partners and data providers
  • Champion data governance best practices to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency across all business systems

Skills and Qualifications

Necessary Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Alteryx for ETL workflow development, automation, and administration
  • Hands-on experience administering Tableau, including data connections, extracts, and report governance
  • Strong understanding of OLAP/data cube architecture and management
  • Experience with sales quota modeling, allocation methodologies, and quota-setting processes at scale
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
  • Demonstrated ability to build, document, and improve business and data processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights
  • Experience maintaining master data and organizational mapping tables in a sales operations environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to sales leadership and Finance
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), CRM platforms (Salesforce), and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent)

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in sales operations, data analytics, or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience owning data infrastructure and reporting systems in a B2B sales environment
  • Prior experience managing or coordinating a technical team is strongly preferred
  • Experience with enterprise-scale quota setting processes is a plus
