Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite; only local candidates will be considered)

Project Description
Our client has an urgent need for a DevOps Engineer to automate and manage cloud deployments and support scalable, cloud-native systems.

Key Responsibilities

Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and Ansible
Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Deploy and support microservices and containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker
Deploy and monitor Azure resources
Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
Optimize cloud-native systems and collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to improve delivery and enforce standards

Mandatory Skills

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
Strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices
Strong communication skills to collaborate across Dev, QA, and Ops teams to enforce standards and streamline delivery
Familiarity with Azure Databricks, observability tools, agile methodologies, cloud governance, and security best practices

Nice-to-Have Skills

Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification
Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
