Are you someone who enjoys helping others and creating a positive first impression? Our Medical Appointment Scheduler plays a vital role in the beginning of each patient's healthcare journey — and we’re looking for a caring, detail-oriented professional to join our team!


In this important role, you'll be the friendly voice patients hear when they call to schedule their first appointment. This role is responsible for answering inbound calls, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, verifying insurance and demographics, and providing exceptional service. You’ll respond to questions, and help ensure every caller feels heard, supported, and confident in their decision to choose our practice.


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology, and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic environment is preferred, with familiarity in roles such as medical receptionist or dental receptionist.
  • Experience with health information management systems and other EMR/EHR platforms is highly desirable, Athena One is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
