About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Microsoft 365 Trainer and Adoption Consultant to help our workforce use collaboration and productivity tools with confidence. This role centers on practical enablement across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and the broader M365 ecosystem β€” with growing focus on Copilot skills as the platform evolves.

Responsibilities

Responsibility AreaWorkloadDetailsTraining Design & Live Facilitation | ~30% | Design, update, and deliver live virtual classes and workshops on M365 productivity topics. Facilitate demos, Q&A, and follow-up resources.
1:1 / Team Consultation & Coaching | ~30% | Provide hands-on coaching through individual consults and small-group support. Advise on SharePoint site ownership, permissions, document collaboration, and adoption best practices.
M365 Updates & Escalation Support | ~15% | Stay current on Microsoft 365 releases, assess training impacts, and coordinate with product/technical teams on escalations.
Learning Content & Job Aids | ~10% | Build and maintain facilitator guides, quick-reference guides, one-pagers, and curated resources.
Change Enablement & Communications | ~10% | Support adoption campaigns, Viva Engage communities, and champion-style enablement programs.
Program Coordination & Reporting | ~5% | Manage class schedules, registrations, Planner tasks, and attendance/feedback metrics.
Workload percentages are estimates and will flex based on program priorities, class demand, new releases, and consultation volume.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, business, technology enablement, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience training, supporting, consulting, or enabling end users on Microsoft 365 tools in a corporate environment
  • Deep, practical knowledge of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and file collaboration across M365
  • Comfort coaching on Planner, Loop, Outlook, Bookings, and related apps
  • Working knowledge of Copilot Chat (Basic) and M365 Copilot (Premium)
  • Strong public speaking and live facilitation skills across virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings
  • Ability to design clear, reusable learning materials and quick-reference guides
  • Consultative mindset β€” able to diagnose needs and coach teams toward better ways of working
  • Strong written communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking ability
  • Instructional design, eLearning, or video creation experienceΒ 
  • Formal change management training (Prosci/ADKAR or similar)Β 
  • Experience supporting champion programs or communities of practice (e.g., Viva Engage)Β 
  • Large enterprise experience across multiple business units
  • Microsoft certifications in M365, Teams, SharePoint, or OneDrive
  • Experience coordinating with vendors or Microsoft product teams on enablement content
