Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) — GlowRx Pharmacy (Plano, TX)

Position: Pharmacist in Charge
Location: Plano, Texas (on-site)
Schedule: 40 hours per week — availability Monday through Saturday required
Job Type: Full-time

About Us

GlowRx Pharmacy is a new independent retail pharmacy opening in Plano, Texas. We're building a community-focused pharmacy that puts patients first, and we're looking for a Pharmacist in Charge to lead the operation from day one and grow with us.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the designated Pharmacist in Charge of record with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Oversee all day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow, and staff
  • Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions; counsel patients in English and Spanish
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules, DEA requirements, and HIPAA
  • Manage controlled substance recordkeeping, inventories, and reconciliation
  • Supervise, train, and schedule pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Build relationships with local prescribers, clinics, and the surrounding community
  • Support clinical services such as immunizations, MTM, and adherence programs
Requirements

  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, and eligible to serve as PIC
  • Bilingual — fluent in English and Spanish (required)
  • Working knowledge of Liberty Software (required)
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfort building processes from scratch in a start-up environment
Preferred

  • Prior retail pharmacy experience; previous PIC experience a plus
  • Immunization certification
  • Familiarity with third-party billing, prior authorizations, and PBM claim resolution
