We are seeking a Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Garland, Plano and North Dallas area.

 

Physical Therapist Assistants earn $12.50 per unit. Up to Four Units per hour. ($50.00)

 

Position Details:

A Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant provides coordinated physical therapy to pediatric patients of various ages in the home setting. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

 

Essential functions:

  • Design and administer the therapy treatment plan.
  • Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
  • Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
  • Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.
  • Demonstrates commitment, professional growth, and competency.
