As a Product/Test Engineer, you will be responsible for post-silicon product development activities such as production test definition and characterization, product qualification, bench validation, and radiation testing for high-reliability semiconductor products. In addition, you will support product sustaining and support activities including lot level qualification, yield improvement, test program transfers, etc.. The position is a key contributor to new product development, improving test solutions, and improving yields.

What You’ll Do:
• Develop Test and Characterization Plans: Work with design to develop detailed test and characterization plans for new products.
• Production Test Development: Work with external test engineers to support test hardware and software development, limit setting, and data review.
• Bench Development: Develop and execute bench validation plans for new products. Build and debug bench setups, automate measurements using Python, collect data and correlate bench results with ATE.
• Product Qualification: Support formal qualification testing of products for high-reliability and space applications. Coordinate hardware procurement, planning, and data analysis.
• Radiation Testing: Assist in planning and executing radiation tests (e.g., TID, SEE, NDD) on products intended for space applications. Contribute to designing or procuring necessary test hardware, support test execution, and analyzing and reporting results.
• Product Sustaining: Support product returns, failure analysis, and product changes.
• Third-party Support: Support assembly, test, and foundries for new and existing products.
• Continuous Improvement: Continually seek to improve test methodologies and systems for better accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a semiconductor test engineer or product engineer.
• Proficiency in ATE test plan definition, HW development, characterization, correlation, GR&R, CPK analysis, and limit setting.
• Proficient in PCB design, including schematic capture, and layout.
• Proficiency in data analysis, with strong skills in applying statistical methods to interpret, visualize, and communicate complex datasets effectively. • Ability to learn and leverage new technologies quickly, document and teach others.
• Willing to take ownership and drive complex tasks as projects.
• Work independently, with team, vendors, or individuals until completion.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a semiconductor product engineer or test engineer.
• Experience with high reliability and/or space grade semiconductors.
• Proficient in Python for bench automation, instrument control, data collection, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, to monitor and control manufacturing processes for quality assurance.
