About the Role


The Recruiter, Multi-Unit Operations is responsible for supporting high-volume recruiting across European Wax Center’s corporate-owned locations. This role will focus primarily on sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for Center Manager, Wax Specialist, and Guest Service Associate positions.


This is a hands-on recruiting role for someone who can move quickly, build strong candidate pipelines, and balance multiple openings across different markets. The Recruiter will partner closely with District Managers, Center Managers, and Human Resources to understand staffing needs, identify qualified candidates, and deliver a consistent and engaging candidate experience.


A Day in the Life

 

 High-Volume Recruiting

  • Manage a high-volume portfolio of open positions across multiple corporate-owned centers and geographic markets.
  • Recruit for Center Managers, licensed Wax Specialists/Estheticians, Guest Service Associates, and other field-based roles as needed.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, schools, community partnerships, referrals, and other creative sourcing channels.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently hired and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess experience, qualifications, availability, compensation expectations, and overall alignment with the role.
  • Conduct structured interviews for Center Manager and other designated positions.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders with clear and objective recommendations.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.

 

Hiring Leader Partnership

  • Partner with District Managers and Center Managers to understand current and anticipated staffing needs.
  • Establish clear expectations regarding candidate profiles, interview responsibilities, and hiring timelines.
  • Provide hiring leaders with market feedback regarding candidate availability, compensation, licensing requirements, and sourcing challenges.
  • Help hiring leaders evaluate candidates consistently and make timely hiring decisions.
  • Escalate recurring staffing challenges and recommend sourcing or process improvements.


Recruiting Operations and Candidate Experience

  • Ensure job postings are accurate, current, and aligned with company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
  • Coordinate interviews and support the offer and pre-employment process in partnership with Human Resources and hiring leaders.
  • Monitor candidate movement and follow up with hiring leaders to minimize delays and candidate loss.
  • Deliver a professional, responsive, and engaging experience from initial contact through offer acceptance.
  • Ensure recruiting practices are consistent and compliant with applicable employment laws and company policies.

 

Sourcing and Community Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with esthetics and cosmetology schools to create pipelines of licensed and soon-to-be-licensed Wax Specialist candidates.
  • Identify local partnerships and recruiting opportunities within the communities where corporate-owned centers operate.
  • Participate in hiring events, career fairs, open houses, and other recruiting activities as needed.
  • Develop market-specific sourcing strategies for locations experiencing persistent staffing challenges.
  • Track the effectiveness of sourcing channels and adjust recruiting efforts based on results.

 

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

  • Track key recruiting metrics, including applicant flow, time to screen, time to fill, source effectiveness, interview-to-offer ratio, offer acceptance, and aging openings.
  • Provide regular updates regarding recruiting activity, pipeline health, hiring risks, and hard-to-fill markets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes, communication, and hiring outcomes.
  • Use recruiting data and market insights to recommend changes to sourcing strategies and candidate profiles.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required, including experience independently sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and online sourcing platforms required.
  • High-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-location retail, hospitality, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or other service-based operations preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for hourly, licensed, and management-level positions preferred.
  • Experience partnering directly with multiple hiring leaders across different locations or markets preferred.
