Description

As a Safety Coordinator at Cadence McShane Construction, you will play a pivotal role in championing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance across construction projects, while fostering a culture of safety and collaboration.


This leadership role involves conducting on-site training, implementing safety programs, and driving operational excellence in adherence to federal, state, and company regulations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide EHS leadership and operational support for project teams to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Implement site-level EHS procedures.
  • Conduct and manage safety training and audits.
  • Assist project management in developing a knowledge base for site compliance
  • Collaborate with others on a daily basis to provide EHS solutions.
  • Maintain computerized EHS records.
  • Champion a safety culture throughout job sites.
  • Contribute to the Safety Committee's best practice reports.
  • Facilitate incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Environmental and OSHA agencies.
  • Understand and respond to regulation changes affecting ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field
  • 4+ years’ experience in construction safety
  • OSHA 30-hour training required

Key Information:

  • Full-time, in-person role at multiple job sites
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and own car required
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required
