The Sr. Manager is a people manager, responsible for leading a team of 3 analysts and managing core processes that support the TV Product Marketing organization and is the focal point for all operational activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Market Sizing, Share Simulations, Scenario Planning, Reporting on Key Performance Indicators, P&L Analysis, etc. This position works closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance, to advance corporate objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and improve data models to size the US TV Market. Forecast Samsung’s overall market position across the key segments, leveraging internal and external data.

  • Establish deep partnerships across multiple disciplines to ensure all relevant factors are accounted for to maintain the integrity of predictive models.

  • Develop and maintain supply and cost simulation tools to maximize ROI and enable swift decision making on promotional activities and programs.

  • Continuously identify risks to the business and develop scenario plans to ensure we are positioned to deploy mitigation strategies in a timely fashion, as needed.

  • Lead the strategic deployment and adoption of AI services across the Home Entertainment division to drive operational efficiency and innovation. 

  • Develop, standardize and deploy tools and processes that support the achievement of corporate objectives. Closely monitor key performance indicators to ensure executives and decisions-makers are in an informed position to maximize revenue, share, and profit.

  • Facilitate the flow of information across internal partners. Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure key channel, market, and segment insights are gathered and leveraged across all processes.

  • Communicate the weekly narrative for the U.S. TV business, synthesizing external data and internal data into market, forecast, risk, and growth briefings.

  • Support the executive team in developing and coordinating internal and external presentation materials

  • Manage near- and long-term initiatives leveraging project management principles.

  • Facilitate close collaboration amongst Sales and Marketing on annual Market Development Fund plans and communicate relevant context to secure relevant approvals.

  • Anticipate future business requirements; perpetually measure the pulse of the organization and their department objectives to ensure cohesion of strategic priorities.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 analysts, aligning their deliverables with department objectives and supporting their career growth.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of directly related experience is required.  Prior operational experience in technology, business development, and/or OEMs Sales and Marketing required.

  • Must demonstrate proven track record of predictive data modeling.

  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to schedule, prioritize, and communicate actions and results as needed.

  • Diplomatic approach to solving complex problems.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and workflow automation programs (e.g., KNIME).

  • Proficiency in business systems (SAP, Tableau, BI).

  • Experience leveraging AI and LLMs to automate data pipelines, enhance predictive models, and streamline operational reporting preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Experience developing presentations, and communicating with internal as well as the customer’s executive management team is a necessity.

  • Must be able to work well under the pressure of timelines, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when driving for results.

  • Strong teamwork, able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environment.   Also, have the ability to take the initiative to get a project done independently as needed.

  • Prior experience with consumer electronic products preferred.

  • Track record of people management skills, including career path planning and delivering maximum output.
