What to Expect

This employee is primarily responsible for managing a queue of delinquent and non-delinquent accounts and investigating, monitoring, and resolving specialty accounts. The position will comply with internal policy and procedures on handling specialty accounts. All positions within the Operations Division are expected to collaborate cross[1]divisionally to achieve a seamless customer experience; this includes supporting other departments as necessary to meet the business need.

What You Will Do

1.      Manage a queue of delinquent and non-delinquent accounts

·        Handle inbound and outbound calls as needed per position

·        Ensure all account activity is properly documented per department standards

·        Perform medium to heavy skip tracing activities utilizing free and paid tools such as Accurint, TLO etc. (where applicable)

·        Manage repossession assignments and all relevant activities (where applicable)

·        Adhere to department standards for effective queue management

2.      Performance Coaching

·        Actively participate in coaching and development sessions/trainings to co-create solutions that enhance individual performance and overall department/team performance. Assist in the development of other team members and provide day-to[1]day mentoring and guidance as requested by leadership.

3.      Perform all other duties as assigned



What You Will Bring

·        2+ years collection or relevant experience (automotive preferred).

·        High school graduate or GED equivalent

·        Bachelor’s degree preferred

·        Basic computer skills - Knowledge of Windows including Word and Excel

·        Strong communication skills - Ability to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas to peers and customers

·        Strong listening skills - Ability to listen and understand direction

·        Strong negotiation skills – Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements with the customer • Skip tracing skills - Ability to utilize various skip tracing tools (where applicable)

 

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at home and office environment.

 

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
