We are seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding team.
This is a hands-on cleanroom role focused on sterile preparations, including peptide compounding.
We need a technician who is ready to gown, gather, and compound accurately from day one.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active CPhT Certification (PTCB or NHA)Β 
  • Valid Texas pharmacy technician licenseΒ 
  • Minimum 1–2 years hands-on sterile compounding experience in an ISO Class 5 PEC (LAFW, BSC, or CAI) within an ISO 7 cleanroom
  • Documented competency in aseptic technique, including passing media fill, gloved fingertip, and surface sampling evaluations
  • Working knowledge of USP <797> requirements: beyond-use dating, garbing, hand hygiene, cleaning and disinfection, environmental monitoring, and documentation
  • Direct experience compounding peptide preparations β€” reconstitution, dilution, vial filling, syringe filling, and lot documentation
  • Accurate master formulation and compounding record documentation, including lot numbers, expiration dates, and yield/reconciliation
  • Ability to work efficiently and precisely in a fast-paced compounding environment

PREFERRED β€” NOT REQUIRED
These will strengthen your application, but strong sterile candidates without them are encouraged to apply:

  • Hands-on experience with PioneerRx pharmacy software
  • Non-sterile compounding experience in compliance with USP <795>
  • Familiarity with USP <800> hazardous drug handling


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Prepare sterile compounded medications under ISO 5 conditions in accordance with USP <797>
  • Compound, fill, and label preparations per approved master formulation records
  • Maintain cleanroom cleaning, disinfection, and environmental monitoring logs
  • Perform in-process checks, weight verifications, and final yield reconciliation
  • Manage refrigerated and frozen inventory, including cold-chain documentation
  • Complete and maintain all compounding records for pharmacist verification
  • Assist with dispensing and data entry in our pharmacy software as workflow requires
