Role SummaryÂ
The Strategic Project Manager operates within the Global PMO to lead and execute high-impact, cross-functional non-IT projects and initiatives across Operations, playing a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing deliverables that achieve operation efficiency, scalability, and improved operational performance.Â
This role is responsible for embedding governance, driving structured execution, and delivering strategic operational initiatives that span functions such as supply chain, logistics, trade compliance, real estate, and operational transformation.Â
The Strategic PM ensures that all initiatives are executed with clarity, discipline, and measurable outcomes, acting as a bridge between strategy and delivery.Â

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
1. Strategic Initiative DeliveryÂ

Manage concurrent diverse operational (non-IT) initiatives - planning and discovery through execution, rollout, and post-launch validationÂ

 Hands on lead of end-to-end delivery of cross-functional operational initiatives (e.g., logistics optimization, tariff mitigation programs, footprint changes, indirect spend initiatives)Â

Translate strategic priorities into structured, executable plansÂ

Ensure initiatives are delivered with clear scope, timelines, and measurable outcomesÂ

2. Governance & Structure ImplementationÂ

Apply and reinforce PMO governance standards across all assigned initiativesÂ

Establish clear plans, milestones, decision points, and accountability structuresÂ

Ensure all initiatives operate with consistent documentation and execution disciplineÂ

3. Pre-Project Structuring & ReadinessÂ

From project intake, define business cases, scope, and success measures for new initiativesÂ

Build structured intake, planning, and readiness frameworks before execution beginsÂ

Ensure initiatives are properly scoped and resourced prior to launchÂ

4. Cross-Functional CoordinationÂ

Drive alignment across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and external partnersÂ

Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and integration points across initiativesÂ
-
Act as a central point to unblock issues and maintain momentumÂ

5. Continuous Improvement & StandardizationÂ

Identify opportunities to improve operational performance and reduce inefficienciesÂ

Standardize tools, templates, and ways of working across initiativesÂ

Capture and embed lessons learned into future planning and executionÂ

6. Portfolio Support & PrioritizationÂ

Support PMO leadership in prioritizing and sequencing strategic initiativesÂ

Provide visibility into progress, risks, and resource needs across initiativesÂ

Contribute to portfolio-level decision-making and trade-off discussionsÂ

Strong experience delivering cross-functional operational improvement projects (non-IT) or business transformation initiativesÂ

Background in PMO, strategy execution, operational excellenceÂ

Highly organized with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skillsÂ

Comfortable operating across functions, regions, and seniority levelsÂ
-
Degree in Business Administration or similarÂ
-
Certified PMO, ITIL, or equivalent Â
