Position Summary:
The Technology Project Manager (TPM) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking technology projects related to Global Real Estate new buildouts, renovations, employee relocations and decommissions. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology components are seamlessly integrated into the Real Estate project and managing all aspects of technology infrastructure for office relocations, expansions, and changes. This role ensures execution and delivery meets the client’s (Enterprise and Merrill Lynch) expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time with varying levels of complexity.
  • Ability to manage project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
  • Coordinate and facilitate routines to support delivery (ex: kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls and tollgates).
  • Develop and execute against comprehensive project plans outlining the project scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines for technology integration in real estate renovations.
  • Perform project scoping, documentation, and estimation. Upon completion of project candidate will be responsible for reporting on budget actuals and financial closeout.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, customers and third parties.
  • Oversight of implementation activities such as rack and stack of network equipment, voice/data programming, low voltage cabling, and evening/weekend move activities.

Technology Integration

  • Coordinate across multiple teams, general contractors, and third parties to implement IT infrastructure needs including networking, cabling, audio/visual systems, and other technology-related aspects of renovation projects.
  • Working knowledge of products, services, business flows, and technology principles.
  • Coordinate directly with Lines of Business to gather the technology requirements and use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Plan and manage all technology-related aspects of office relocations and/or buildouts ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology-related questions and updates for all project activity.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders providing regular updates and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with technology project management, with a focus on technology integration in construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, voice/data, audio/visual systems, and security systems.
  • General understanding of facilities, commercial construction projects and construction cycle.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certification in Information Technology, Project Management, or related field.
  • Experience w/ large people and technology, move/add/change projects
  • PMP or similar project management certificate is preferred.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of project/small program deliverables which requires the engagement of multiple teams. Key responsibilities include communicating work objectives, coordinating delivery, facilitating sync points across teams, providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables, and managing program risk and compliance to standards. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery (for example, kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates, etc.)
  • Manages coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline
  • Provides status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
  • Works with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
  • Supports resource planning for delivery and execution
  • Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards

Pay range$78,200.00 - $157,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
