This is a highly visible and collaborative role at the heart of the Marketing organization. The ideal candidate will be an experienced growth marketer who is comfortable operating as a player-coach.

As a Vice President, Growth Marketing within Chase Payment Solutions you will grow our base of Small and Medium Business (SMB) clients. You will lead a tight team of marketers responsible for targeted acquisition campaigns, performance marketing / paid media, partner marketing and our digital presence.  You are a data-driven marketing leader who is entrepreneurial but also comfortable working within a large matrixed organization. You can straddle being both strategic and detail oriented and will lead the team as a player coach.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Operate as a hands on builder and strategic leader; coach senior and associate talent, influence cross functional partners, and present clear performance readouts and recommendations to senior leadership

  • Own the US SMB acquisition marketing strategy across channels; set quarterly plans, targets, and budget guardrails

  • Drive website content and experience strategy, SEO/GEO, funnel optimization, and test-and-learn roadmap to generate traffic and improve conversion

  • Build and scale partner/referral marketing programs, including events and co-marketing campaigns

  • Monitor results and generate insights; translate learnings into optimization actions and new experiments or growth initiatives 

  • Work collaboratively with marketing delivery team, centers of excellence, other internal partners and vendors to execute campaigns and initiatives

  • Build strong relationship with sales and relationship management stakeholders, ensuring growth marketing programs are informed by needs and insights from the field

     

 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 10+ years of experience in growth, acquisition and/or performance marketing with increasing scope

  • Direct management experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing 

  • Track record of accountability for marketing acquisition outcomes (e.g., leads, accounts) and hitting goals

  • Strong  understanding of modern approaches to website marketing (e.g., SEO/GEO, UX/UI, conversion  optimization, testing), performance marketing and paid media (e.g., Paid Search, Affiliate, Programmatic, Paid Social, etc.)

  • Builder leader mindset: comfortable charting new paths and operating in whitespace while rolling up sleeves to dive into the details or help your team execute

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly and succinctly articulate complex information to a broad audience and a track record of influencing across stakeholder groups

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in SMB marketing, ideally in a SaaS or Financial Services environment
