Job Responsibilities vary by department, but may include:

  • Review files to determine status and appropriate next steps. Follow up with internal and external parties to resolve
  • Follow up to ensure files move through litigation and post judgment process efficiently
  • Obtain legal documents from court websites
  • Import documents into the Firm’s case management system
  • File legal documents with the court
  • Assist with docket management
  • Prepare, review, and assemble trial packages
  • Generate and prepare legal documents for Attorney review
  • Generate and track judgment documents
  • Communicate with enforcement officers, courts, banks, process servers, attorneys, and consumers
  • Record information in the Firm’s case management system


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • At least two-years general office experience with at least one-year legal office experience or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of legal principles and legal terminology.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to work with databases and on-line technological platforms
  • Ability to be self-reliant and able to initiate communication with management
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible
  • Ability to handle conflicting time demands and focus on task completion with little direction or need for supervisory follow-up
  • Proficient command of the English language in both oral and written format
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer.
