Alto Walden Woods is hiring a Part-Time Kitchen Porter / Dishwasher to join our dining team. With consistent afternoon hours ending at 6:30pm and a team that will train you from day one — this is a great opportunity for anyone looking for meaningful part-time work that fits around their life.

What You'll Do:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, flatware, and kitchen equipment
- Support the culinary and dining team during afternoon meal service
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining environment throughout your shift
- Restock supplies and keep stations ready throughout service
- Be a dependable, team-first presence in a well-run kitchen

- Must be 18+ and pass a background screening

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.
Areas of Responsibility
- Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
- Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
- Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
- Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.

Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must have an awareness of safety practices.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
- The Community is a drug free workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.
