Basic Function:Â
The Accounts Receivable will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records of customer transactions.Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Â
•   Generate and send accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner.
•   Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up with clients to ensure prompt payment.
•   Record and apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts.
•   Resolve customer billing inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
•   Reconcile accounts receivable aging reports and ensure that payments are collected within company terms.
•   Prepare and review regular reports on accounts receivable status for management.
•   Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries related to receivables.
•   Maintain and update customer account information in the accounting system.
•   Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any billing or payment issues.
•   Monitor credit limits and assist in credit checks to manage customer risk.
•   Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:Â
•   Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar role.
•   Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
•   Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
•   Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
•   Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•   Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion.
•   Problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
•   A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Physical Requirements:Â
•   Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.Â
•   Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
•   The role requires adherence to safety protocols in accordance with aviation industry standards.
