United Community Options of South Florida serves children and adults with a wide range of needs and abilities, including physical, intellectual, neurological, and developmental disabilities. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 
Location: (Golden Glades GH)  16521 NW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33161| Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-time, On-call Per Diem

 

Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNAs to provide care for residents, including those who are ventilator-dependent, in our group homes across South Florida. This role involves assisting residents with daily living, supporting independence, and ensuring high-quality, specialized care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to residents, including ventilator-dependent patients, following all medical and safety protocols.
  • Assist residents with personal care, meals, and daily activities.
  • Monitor residents’ medical conditions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Follow Individual Program Plans (IPP) and behavioral interventions accurately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including shift reports, incident reports, and ventilator logs.
  • Encourage social interaction and participation in community and recreational activities.
  • Operate vehicles safely and adhere to transportation guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and attend all required trainings.

Minimum Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Experience with ventilator-dependent patients preferred
  • Compassion, patience, and commitment to resident-centered care
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
  • Great Driver record (3 years) check 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
