• We are seeking a new team member to help cook in the kitchen.  If you are looking for a position with 5 shifts per week, this may be for you.  8 hour shifts available (5am – 1:30pm). Consider applying today.

Job Summary

Provide quality regular and therapeutically correct customer meals through skilled meal preparation; texture modifications and menu adaptation, according to diet preparations, meal service and cleanup.

• Follows and completes work assignments per schedule, production sheets, and special assignment willingly and promptly. Promotes a positive work environment. Follows recipes per production sheet to prepare menu items. Prepare items with attention at detail for quality, correctness, and sanitation. Adjusts recipes for meal count. Cleans and sanitizes equipment, knives, and work areas following proper procedures. Meet meal deadlines. Performs other duties as assigned. Follow sanitary food handler techniques in preparation and serving of food, in storage and holding of foods, and in meal cleanup. Completes QA worksheets and temperature logs.

 Education and/or Experience/Licensure/Certification

• Education: High School diploma preferred, but not required.  
• Experience: Previous experience in food handling is preferred but not required.

Pay

Minimum wage is $16.50 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
