As the Assistant Director for our Habilitation Services Department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and quality of services we provide. You will be responsible for overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards for service provision and documentation. Additionally, you will supervise Residential Managers directly and provide indirect oversight to Direct Support Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
This is a full-time position requiring at least 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
What You’ll Do:

Supervise and provide leadership to Residential Managers, Direct Support Supervisors, and Direct Support Professionals.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet state regulations and agency policies.

Oversee program operations and provide guidance on service provision and documentation.

Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including state and agency policies.

Maintain strong communication with the Program Director to ensure all objectives are met.
What We’re Looking For:

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled population.Â

Two years of supervisory experience is required.

Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Precision Care for documentation purposes.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.

A valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
