Temporary Full-Time - Nursing Faculty

Clinton Community College is seeking a forward-thinking, dynamic individual to join Clinton Community College. CCC, a member of the State University of New York system, invites applications for a temporary full-time faculty position in the Nursing department. The Nursing faculty reports to the Director of Nursing, and the position is effective with the Fall 2026 semester for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Minimum salary is $50,044.30

QUALIFICATIONS

A New York State license as a Registered Nurse and a master’s degree in nursing are required. Minimum of two years of clinical experience and teaching experience preferred. Applicants who do not have two years of clinical and/or teaching experience, as stated, are encouraged to submit, in writing, how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of the position, and to provide appropriate references. Preference given to applicants with experience in simulation-based learning technologies such as high and low-fidelity manikins and virtual reality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include 15-18 credit hours of instruction per semester in Medical/Surgical Nursing in classroom, college lab, and clinical settings, conducting scheduled office hours for student conferences and academic advisement, as well as assigned committee work. There is an expectation of service to the college, community, and the profession during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May).
