Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Own the governance and validation of AI-generated requirements in Gherkin format, including alignment with business rules and data mappings, and ensure AI-driven test validation and traceability through structured SME review to prevent downstream impact on system design, testing, and operations.
- Help coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects and nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support
- Be a knowledgeable bridge between clients, project managers and technical staff to define, document and share business requirements and expected impactÂ
- Work with the client to develop business specs at the start of a technical project
- Analyze, plan, design, document or make recommendations to improve business processes to support client’s technology goals
- Help verify that all requirements have been met by approving and validating test results  Â
- Exercise your ability to use basic analytical or relational database software — such as Excel or SQL — to quantify the anticipated impact of workÂ
What we're looking for
- 9+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or related role, with 3+ years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred.
- Experience in AI-enabled requirements engineering, ensuring outputs are validated, governed, and fully traceable across business rules, data requirements, and the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
- Experience working within Scrum, Agile, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts, including configuration, development, and batch processing.
- Advanced proficiency with analytical and requirements management tools, including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

- Strong client communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable objectives.
- Strong analytical and business process re-engineering capabilities.
- Executive presence and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage business leaders, clients, and technical teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, influence outcomes, and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and digestible manner.

The pay range for this position is $86,800 - $124,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
