Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Frazeysburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, stockroom locations, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and maintain professional communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
