What You Will Do
- Weld stainless steel piping systems using TIG (GTAW) and other approved welding processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID diagrams, isometric drawings, and welding procedures.
- Fit, align, and assemble pipe sections, valves, fittings, and supports.
- Perform root, fill, and cap welds in accordance with ASME B31.3 requirements.
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare materials by cutting, beveling, grinding, and cleaning pipe surfaces.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, pipe cutting equipment, and measuring tools.
- Follow welding procedures, quality control requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Complete required documentation, including weld logs and inspection records.
- Coordinate with supervisors, teammates, and QA/QC inspectors to support successful project completion.
Position Details
- Location: Chandler, AZ
- Work Environment: On-site at the Chandler Fab Shop
- Reporting To: Production Manager
- Shift Hours -- 7am to 4pm (Monday to Friday)
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3-5 years of stainless-steel pipe welding experience.
- Proficiency in GTAW/TIG welding on stainless steel pipe.
- Ability to pass applicable weld qualification tests.
- Knowledge of ASME and applicable piping codes and standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
- AWS Certified Welder certification.
- OSHA 10 certification.

- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precision welding tasks.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
