Overview

HOURLY RATE (DEPENDING ON SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): $29.71 - $38.76

 

SCOPE: The Imaging Coordinator is the initial point of contact for all patients referred to Bayside Imaging. The scheduler is responsible for scheduling imaging appointments at the appropriate Bayside location. Schedulers process all incoming imaging orders from providers both internal and external to Epic Care. 


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Perform all imaging scheduling functions
  • Respond to incoming telephone calls regarding imaging appointments
  • Enter patient information accurately into Epic EMR system when applicable
  • Follow through on all direct clinician requests communicated by phone, email or through Epic EMR
  • Ensure proper medical records are present in Epic EMR prior to imaging appointment
  • Provide modality-specific pre-procedural instructions
  • Manage imaging order work queue in Epic
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Medical Terminology preferred
  • 1 Year of Imaging Scheduling preferred
  • 1 Year of experience with Epic EMR preferred

Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer keyboards and standard office equipment. Some lifting of supplies may be required up to 30 pounds.
