Job DetailsJob Location: PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI 53158Job Description The Mill Room Operator is responsible for batching activities that must be performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. The Mill Room Operator stages, weighs and mixes ingredients according to recipes. Works with Quality Assurance Technician on the analytical results and makes modifications to the product when needed.  Job Duties Make adjustments to batches (Solids, Acid, pH, Salt). Weigh and prepare ingredients for batching. Accurately document lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas per customer regulations. Perform cleaning of batching equipment and fillers (CIPs, foaming equipment and hand brushing). Operate electric forklift following all safety procedures. Understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety Standards, plant safety rules, safe lifting techniques, and safe machine operation. Maintain a clean work environment as well as quality requirements in accordance with company standards. Accurately filling out inspection sheets based on overall product quality. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without prior notice QualificationsRequirements GED / High School degree preferred Experience batching and pre-weighing: 0-2 years / 3-5 years preferred. Experience may include a combination of work experience and education Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Able to receive, analyze, and report information efficiently and accurately Good verbal and written communication skills with management and employees at all levels Required to work standard 8 hour shifts Flexibility to work 12 hours shifts and weekends as needed (based on seasonal demand) Effectively work as part of a team Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment Willingness to learn and improve, working in all assigned areas of production Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to visually inspect product and materials Strong computer literacy – MS applications, databases Forklift experience Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze large amounts of data and determine deficiencies. Able to perform root cause analysis.
