PPC Quality Leader is an experienced leadership role that ensures PPC’s blown-film extrusion and converting operations consistently meet customer, regulatory, food-safety, medical-packaging, and DuPont quality requirements. The Quality Leader leads the site Quality organization; owns and continuously improves the Quality Management System; sustains ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and applicable food-contact requirements; and partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, EHS, Commercial, and site leadership to prevent defects, resolve customer concerns, reduce variation, and build a culture of quality ownership.   Your key responsibilities: Embraces and role models DuPont Core Values; cultivates a quality-first culture in which safety, compliance, product integrity, customer needs, and continuous improvement guide daily decisions. Leads, develops, and retains the Quality team; establishes clear performance expectations, builds technical and leadership capability, provides regular coaching and feedback, and promotes an inclusive workplace. Owns, maintains, and improves the site Quality Management System, including compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, applicable food-contact and medical-packaging requirements, customer specifications, and DuPont standards. Establishes and communicates challenging quality goals, metrics, and outcomes; monitors customer complaints, nonconformances, audit findings, CAPA effectiveness, scrap, rework, first-pass yield, and process capability to prioritize improvement activity. Leads internal, customer, registrar, and regulatory audits; ensures site readiness, timely closure of findings, effective corrective and preventive actions, and verification that actions prevent recurrence. Partners with Operations and Engineering to maintain robust controls for blown-film extrusion and converting, including product specifications, process flow maps, PFMEAs, control plans, sampling plans, SPC, MSA, gauge R&R, and calibrated test equipment. Drives continuous quality improvement using lean, Six Sigma, 5 Why, A3, 8D, root-cause analysis, and CAPA; leads cross-functional efforts that eliminate recurring defects, reduce process variation, and improve customer performance. Collaborates across functions to support new products, customer qualification, supplier quality, raw-material and process changes, traceability, product disposition, cleanroom controls, and food-safety readiness. Qualifications 7 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or Continuous Improvement; flexible packaging, blown-film extrusion, converting, food packaging, medical packaging, medical devices, or another regulated industry preferred. 2 years of direct people leadership experience or demonstrated leadership of cross-functional quality and continuous-improvement initiatives. Demonstrated experience leading or substantially supporting an ISO-based Quality Management System, including third-party registrar and customer audit preparation, hosting, response, and closure. Working knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 or similar food-safety systems, GMPs, CAPA, quality-engineering methods, and customer-specific requirements. Experienced lean or Six Sigma practitioner with demonstrated results using APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, gauge R&R, SPC, process capability, and structured problem-solving methods. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality, or related technical field preferred; equivalent relevant manufacturing experience considered. ISO 9001 and/or relevant Lead Auditor certification. ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or comparable certification. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
