WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
- Sell integrated physical security systems and services, including design, installation, and maintenance agreements.
- Achieve assigned annual booking and gross margin goals as determined with the Sales Manager.
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals, while expanding services with existing customers.
- Conduct site visits and needs assessments to develop customized proposals and system designs.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations using approved marketing materials to communicate Sciens’ value proposition.
- Build long-term relationships through consultative selling and by positioning Sciens as a trusted advisor.
- Provide accurate forecasts of sales activity and maintain up-to-date CRM records.
- Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, operations, and finance to ensure successful project execution.
- Influence specifications through relationships with contractors, developers, and consultants.
- Represent Sciens at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
- 3–5+ years of experience in physical security system sales, preferably in the construction services or building systems industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms.
- Experience selling technical solutions through the contracting tier and to end users.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
- Self-motivated with excellent time and territory management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon) are a plus.
- Able to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.

$90,000 - $110,000 DOE
