Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & RequirementsĀ Leadership
- LeadĀ discoveryĀ workshopsĀ withĀ FinanceĀ leadersĀ andĀ SMEsĀ (Controller, AP, AR, Treasury, FP&A) usingĀ finance/business terminology.
- Translate business processes into Oracle Fusion solution design, includingĀ fit-gap analysis, process redesign recommendations,Ā andĀ target-state documentation.
- Create clear functional deliverables: BRDs/FRDs, process flows, configuration workbooks, test scenarios,Ā andĀ training materials.
Oracle FusionĀ FinanceĀ Functional Ownership (End-to-End)
- Own functional designĀ andĀ configuration guidance across Oracle FusionĀ Finance, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash Management (CM)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Expenses
- Tax
- Intercompany
- CollectionsĀ (if in scope)
- Revenue Management / Revenue RecognitionĀ (as applicable)
- Budgetary ControlĀ (public sector / compliance-driven clients if applicable)
- Advise on accounting structures:Ā COA, ledgers, legal entities, business units, balancing segments, intercompany rules, accounting calendars,Ā andĀ subledger accounting.
Solution Design, Testing & Stabilization
- Guide the end-to-end lifecycle:Ā design ā configure ā test ā train ā cutover support ā stabilization.
- PartnerĀ withĀ technical/integration teams to define functional requirements for:
- Integrations (banking, procurement, payroll, billing platforms, third-party tax engines, etc.)
- Reporting (OTBI, BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio)
- Security rolesĀ andĀ approvals (in partnershipĀ withĀ security specialists)
- Lead/UAT support: test strategy, defect triage, business validation,Ā andĀ sign-off.
Stakeholder Communication & Governance
- Run functional workstreamsĀ andĀ provide crisp status updates: risks, issues, dependencies,Ā andĀ decisions required.
- Proactively identify process/control gapsĀ andĀ propose best-practice improvements.
- Mentor internal team membersĀ andĀ provide knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ yearsĀ of OracleĀ FinanceĀ experienceĀ withĀ strong Oracle FusionĀ FinanceĀ functional expertise.
- Demonstrated experience coveringĀ all core Oracle FusionĀ FinanceĀ modulesĀ (GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Expenses, Tax, Intercompany; plus Revenue/Collections/Budgetary Control as applicable).
- Proven ability toĀ communicateĀ withĀ business stakeholders in their language, including ControllersĀ andĀ FinanceĀ leadership.
- Strong understanding ofĀ financeĀ processes:Ā R2R, P2P, O2C, close, reconciliations, cash positioning, asset lifecycle, tax/compliance.
- ExperienceĀ leadingĀ workshops, documenting requirements,Ā andĀ driving fit-gap/design decisions.
- Excellent documentationĀ andĀ presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ExperienceĀ withĀ multi-entity, multi-ledger, multi-currencyĀ environments.
- ExperienceĀ withĀ Oracle Fusion reportingĀ (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS)Ā andĀ reconciliation/close tooling.
- Prior consulting background delivering end-to-end implementationsĀ and/or post-go-live stabilization.
- Experience in regulated or audit-heavy environments (SOX, public sector, healthcare/life sciences, etc.).
