Position: Tennis Instructor
Location: The Club at Ruby Hill – Pleasanton, California
Job Summary:
The Club at Ruby Hill is seeking a passionate, energetic, and professional Tennis Instructor to join our team and deliver exceptional tennis instruction to members of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about tennis, communicates effectively, and is committed to creating a premium, engaging experience for every player.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct private and group tennis lessons for juniors and adults
Assist in planning and running tennis programs, clinics, camps, leagues, and tournaments
Provide on-court coaching with a focus on technique, skill development, and strategy
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for players of all abilities
Reconcile and adjust daily lessons in the scheduling system to ensure accurate billing and reporting
Maintain court cleanliness and ensure proper use of equipment
Provide feedback and progress updates to members and/or parents
Work closely with other staff to promote tennis and racquet sports at the Club
Uphold and represent the Club’s values, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
Qualifications:
Prior experience teaching tennis, preferably in a private club or resort setting
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Comfortable working with all ages and skill levels
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
USTA or USPTA certification (preferred but not required)
Pay Range: $18 - $20
