POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of construction management from conception to occupancy. This includes ability to interface and communicate with all levels of staff within the organization, project professionals, and regulatory agencies on a regular basis.
 
The Assistant Project Manage also demonstrates the ability to offer input on means to improve processes and control variables within the project scope.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, degree concentration in construction preferred.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: 5 to 7 years' experience in healthcare environment construction and / or Facilities operations required. Candidates are required to communicate with all levels of staff within the facility along with a proven ability to work with professionals, regulatory officials, and contractors as needed to complete the project. Architectural drafting experience/ability to work with Auto/CAD required.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping and crouching a majority of the workday. Works with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, printer and copier.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position report to Department Leadership and may supervise incumbents' as assigned.
