Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Tax team. In this role, you will lead the preparation and review of complex tax returns, serve as a key client contact, and mentor junior staff. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their technical tax knowledge while advancing into a leadership path within public accounting.

Requirements

Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of client's businesses.
Complete tax planning, along with occasional specialty duties.
Prepare and assist in reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations.
Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities.
Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
CPA Certification preferred or eligible to sit for the CPA exam.
3-5 years of recent public accounting experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. At this time, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas
