GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • Lead and technical responsibility for the development of the foundation brake of new and existing programs;

  • Responsible to gather customer’s vehicle parameters, packaging data and engineering requirements;

  • Responsible to evaluate new program technical requirements;

  • Responsible to perform brake system analysis;

  • Responsible for customer reviews and internal drawing releases;

  • Assist with technical presentations and quote submissions;

  • Assist with meeting customer program requirement, i.e. APQP, PPAP, etc.;

  • Support customer and plant personnel during ramp-up of start of production and during series production throughout the life of the program;

  • Support customer engineering problem resolution related to quality and warranty;

  • Participate in customer test activities and vehicle builds;

  • Participate in problem solving activities;

  • Participate in continuous improvement;

  • Oversee prototype build and delivery.
  • Periodic travel required

 

The candidate will be required to work at a fast pace with minimum supervision in a constantly changing environment.
