Job Title: Carrier Support Specialist
Job Description
The Carrier Support Specialist is the primary contact for transportation partners, managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls, carrier onboarding, account support, issue resolution, and relationship management. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume phone interactions with carriers and customers.
- Support carrier onboarding, account setup, and documentation requirements.
- Resolve service issues, escalations, and customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records within CRM and internal systems.
- Monitor carrier compliance and required documentation.
- Build strong relationships with carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations teams to meet service expectations.
- Track interactions and follow through on open issues to resolution.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, account coordination, or a related field.
- Experience managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Stable work history with strong job tenure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight, brokerage, or dispatch.
- CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
- Experience handling customer escalations and complaint resolution.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position in a professional office setting. The role operates on a rotating schedule, working 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM one week and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM the following week. The environment is highly phone-focused, with the majority of the day spent managing inbound and outbound calls using computer systems and dual monitors.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47000.00 - $49920.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
