Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Associates Degree in Science, Nursing or related field.
  • Graduate from and accredited nursing program.
  • Current State License as Registered Nurse.
  • CPR Certified.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory/ADON role preferred.
  • Knowledge of LARA Regulations, as well as State and Federal regulations preferred.


Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of general nursing principles and understanding of the concepts of aging and concerns of the elderly population and those with a health condition requiring post-acute clinical care intervention.聽聽
  • Knowledge of State and Federal health regulations and clinical standards of practice.
  • Knowledge of nursing standards and delivery systems, supervision, management, staff development, quality assurance and infection control practices.聽聽
  • Ability to assess the effectiveness of nursing care and personnel performance.聽聽
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.聽
  • Displays positive professional image and enhances positive public relations for the facility.聽聽
  • Basic business computer knowledge preferred.
