The Opportunity Â
This position works out of our Plymouth, MN, location in the Electrophysiology (EP) division.Â
Main Purpose of RoleÂ
As an Operator I, you’ll work under direct supervision, performing routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes.Â
What You’ll Work OnÂ
- Performs Casting/Coating functionsÂ
- Examines medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxyÂ
- Utilizes small drills, reamers, taps, and knives to access bubbles and remove excess epoxyÂ
- Patches and repairs bubbles or voids using syringes and small tools; bakes parts to cure epoxy patchesÂ
- Performs Mechanical Assembly functionsÂ
- Kits, assembles, bonds, coats, and processes medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable toolsÂ
- Locates and corrects problems by examining devices and components and visually inspecting parts/assembliesÂ
- Repairs and corrects devices and related components using microscopes and applicable toolsÂ
- Performs Packaging FunctionsÂ
- Kits, assembles, and packages devices and related accessories using applicable toolsÂ
- Locates and corrects problems using a microscope and applicable toolsÂ
- Reviews all device documentation for completeness and accuracyÂ
- May set-up/utilize special test equipmentÂ
ShiftÂ
Monday – Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm with potential overtimeÂ
Required QualificationsÂ
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions - Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages Â
- Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance Â
- Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts Â
- Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision Â

The base pay for this position is $14.35 – $28.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
