The Opportunity Â
This position works out of our Plymouth location in the electrophysiology division (EP).Â
Work Shift Monday – Thursday, 5:00AM - 3:30PM with potential overtimeÂ
Main Purpose of RoleÂ
Working under general supervision in accordance with specific procedures and practices may perform a combination of assembly, weld, x-ray, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, electronic systems, and related medical device assemblies. Performs routine assignments with detailed instructions. Follows general instructions for routine work and more detailed instructions for new or special activities. Performs assignments of moderate complexity; usually refers more complex problems to immediate supervisor, lead, or more senior level personnel from within the assigned department.Â
What You’ll Work OnÂ
- Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date - Troubleshooting skills - Interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, active participation, active listening, Interpreting, cooperation, and flexibility to allow for a successful self-managed teamÂ
- Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral formÂ
- Positively represent the company during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate informationÂ
- Positively represents and supports the company’s policies and proceduresÂ
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with internal customers and external customers, such as toursÂ
- Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operationsÂ
- Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metricsÂ
- Perform routine/preventative maintenance on applicable equipment to maximize efficiency, minimize accidents to enhance longer life of equipment and toolsÂ
- Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all productsÂ
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing.  Â
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of continuous improvementÂ
- Participate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager in setting and monitoring individual goals and cell performance metrics that continuously seek to improve the quality of operationsÂ
- Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements  Â
Required QualificationsÂ
- High School Diploma / GEDÂ
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environmentsÂ
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions - Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packagesÂ
- Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importanceÂ
- Ability to handle and maneuver small components and partsÂ
- Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervisionÂ
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Previous medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience is helpfulÂ

The base pay for this position is $15.55 – $31.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
