WhatĀ you’llĀ do in this role:Ā 

The primary purpose of this position is to perform work which involvesĀ generalĀ engineeringĀ methods and tools.Ā Ā As an entry level engineer, you will ensureĀ thatĀ Integer’s internal and external customer expectations are met or exceededĀ with the direction, instruction and guidance from more experienced engineers and managers in your organization.Ā Ā Develop processes and equipment to introduce new products into manufacturing sites with the goalĀ to ensureĀ safe, high-qualityĀ and cost-effectiveĀ results.Ā IdentifiesĀ existing or develops new process and equipment technology, characterizes andĀ optimizesĀ processes, andĀ validatesĀ processes and manufacturing lines. As part of a broader new product introduction team,Ā establishesĀ efficient production line layouts or leadsĀ processĀ improvements to existing plant operations. May perform estimations of production times, staffing requirements, and/or related costs.Ā 

  • You adhereĀ to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.Ā Ā 

  • Under the supervision of experienced engineering mentors and managers, you willĀ selectĀ and applyĀ standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteriaĀ in making adaptations and modificationsĀ to existing products and processes.Ā Ā 

  • You will reviewĀ procedures and plans prior to implementationĀ as well asĀ evaluateĀ existingĀ products, processes and materialsĀ for failure analysis and potential improvements.Ā 

  • You willĀ participateĀ inĀ projects that require you toĀ investigate, develop,Ā documentĀ and implement newĀ product andĀ process technologies of moderateĀ complexity andĀ scope.Ā 

  • You will performĀ workĀ onĀ technical projects where you will follow Integer’s standard quality management and production system methodologies toĀ investigate opportunities for product andĀ process improvements.Ā 

  • You will applyĀ standardĀ data analysisĀ practices and techniquesĀ toĀ establishĀ root cause for product and process failures or to support the justification for improvements to products and processes.Ā 

  • You willĀ be requiredĀ toĀ observeĀ products and processes to recognize discrepancies in results and follow operations throughoutĀ a series of detailed steps or processesĀ toĀ establishĀ root cause of the discrepancies.Ā 

  • You are expected to collaborate with others in the exchangeĀ ofĀ information, askĀ questionsĀ andĀ regularlyĀ check for understandingĀ in support of your development as an engineer.Ā 

  • You embed Quality within the Engineering discipline – ā€œI own Quality.ā€Ā Ā YouĀ are aĀ standard bearer for Quality in everything we do at Integer, by assuring adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS), facilitating and/or contributing to corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to the successful attainment of our quality KPI’s and journey to 5 Sigma.Ā

What sets you apart:Ā 

  • YouĀ haveĀ earned, as aĀ minimum,Ā aĀ bachelor’s degreeĀ in an engineering or relatedĀ technicalĀ fieldĀ and haveĀ betweenĀ 0-3Ā years of experience.Ā 

  • Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may be considered with 5+ years of relevant experience.Ā 

  • While you will have regular support and guidance from more experienced engineers,Ā supervisorsĀ or managers, youĀ willĀ demonstrateĀ the ability toĀ work independently as well as collaboratively withĀ other associates andĀ cross functional teams.Ā

  • Process Development Engineer salary: $69,300- $101,640

Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer’s success. Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
