Trillium Woods is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dietician to join our team!
Â
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dietician:
Manage and support the dietary team to ensure efficient, high-quality food serviceÂ
Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising Health Center dietary personnelÂ
Provide on-the-job training for both kitchen and dining room staffÂ
Develop menus based on residents’ nutritional needs and preferencesÂ
Assign and oversee daily dietary tasks; monitor for quality and complianceÂ
Ensure nutritional adequacy of resident meals per policyÂ
Maintain required records, reports, schedules, and compliance documentationÂ
Participate in cost control measures and budget awarenessÂ
Supervise and complete resident intake processes and food preference interviewsÂ
Update dietary documentation (kardex, menus, nourishment lists) based on dietitian inputÂ
Attend Care Plan meetings and in-service training sessions as assignedÂ

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
ï‚·Â High School Diploma/GED requiredÂ
ï‚·Â Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) – healthcare focusÂ
ï‚·Â 2+ years supervisory experience in healthcare food serviceÂ
ï‚·Â Safety & sanitation certification (food service)Â
ï‚·Â Preferred: Long-term care experienceÂ
ï‚·Â Clinical experience: resident assessments, MDS input, Care Plan Team participationÂ
ï‚·Â Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skillsÂ
ï‚·Â Ability to interpret menus, answer dietary questions, and coordinate meal serviceÂ
