We are looking for dedicated youth advocates to champion the rights, voices, and well-being of youth we care for in the Plymouth area. Together, let's pave the way for a brighter future, where every young person is valued, supported, and empowered to make a meaningful impact on the world. 


What you will be doing to make a difference:

  • Driving is required
  • Engage with and supervise nine youth in a structured, home-like setting, maintaining a steady and reliable presence
  • Provide firm, supportive guidance that builds confidence and encourages positive growth
  • Plan and lead activities—such as hiking, field outings, and recreational challenges—that help youth develop practical life skills
  • Coach youth toward their service goals, including homework support, coping strategies, and consistent behavior management
  • Serve as a strong, positive role model who reinforces accountability and supports overall wellbeing

Schedule Options:  1) Sun 8-4p and Wed-Sat 3-11p; 2) Sun 3-11p and Wed-Fri 3p-11p and Sat 8-4p; or 3) Sun 3-11p, and Wed, Thur and Sat 3-11p and Fri 8-4p

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • 1 year experience working with adolescents is preferred (not required)
  • Residential experience preferred
  • Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, DCF) preferred
  • Additional languages desirable, though not required
  • Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPI physical interventions, and de-escalation techniques
  • Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPR and first aid
