Summary/Objective
The Receptionist will be the face and voice of the organization and greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests. 

 

Essential Functions

  1. Welcome clients, visitors, and guests, determine the purpose of the visit and connect to the host.
  2. Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  3. Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  4. Monitors visitor access and issues badges when required including online web maintenance. 
  5. Administrative and Clerical support tasks.
  6. Performs basic filing and recordkeeping (Badges, Birthday cards, attendance hotline ETC…)
  7. Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies and maintains storage room.
  8. Maintain reception and lobby area standards accordingly.
  9. Water office and lobby area plants and manage/maintain their appearance.
  10. Distribution and records of gift cards
  11. Aid in coordination of company events.
  12. FANA janitorial monitoring (especially bathrooms)
  13. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

  1. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally there may be some tasks that require attention on the production floor which will require the appropriate PPE to be worn.
  2. Must be 18 years or older

 

 

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The handling of office and other supplies including copy paper of up to 25lbs will be required.

 

Travel 

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Competence in the following Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral form.
